STORIE

La prima storia riguarda Pandi Kumar, di 7 anni, figlio di zingari.

Si muoveva da una città all'altra chiedendo l'elemosina o vendendo sapone e acido che preparavano i genitori.

Avvicinato nel mese di agosto 2012, è stato convinto lui e i genitori ad entrare a Jeevadhara dove avrebbe vissuto una vita più normale per la sua età, insieme ad altri bambini coetanei. Avrebbe avuto la possibilità di riprendere gli studi.

E' passato un anno da quando è entrato ed è molto contento, dimostrando ottime capacità intellettuali. Ha completato la terza elementare.

Da grande vorrebbe essere un ottimo impiegato.

 

The first story is about a boy called Pandi Kumar, he entered in Jeevadhara Nylayam, a rehabilitation home for orphans, street boys and child labour on 17th august 2012. His family is a wandering family called gypsies, so they simple wander from place to place amd usually they don't hava a house.

This boy aged 7 years was wandering and scavenging on the streets, he also helped his family by selling soaps and acid. Along with the nuns, we found out the situation of the family and advised their parents to send their children to the school and that's how we got this boy. Now he has finished the 3rd grade and he wants to become a reputed officer in the future.

La seconda storia riguarda Prakash Reddy, accolto in Jeevadhara il 7 luglio 2010.

Era stato trovato girovagante e affamato per le strade di Cuddapah. Portato a Jeevadhara e ricevuto le attenzioni necessarie, ha fatto sapere che lavorava nel mercato di frutta e verdura nella speranza di guadagnare qualcosa. Precedentemente lavorava alle dipendenze di un proprietario di camion e trattori, caricando e scaricando pietre e altro materiale pesante per pochi soldi. Un giorno il proprietario lo ha abbandonato per le strade di Cuddapah e non si è fatto più vedere. Così si è ritrovato solo.

Dopo alcuni colloqui psicologici si è venuto a sapere che il padre era morto quando lui era ancora molto piccolo. Sono poi sorti alcuni problemi con la madre e quando frequentava la seconda media, è fuggito di casa arrivando alla situazione sopra descritta.

In Jeevadhara ha ripreso a studiare con impegno e in due anni è riuscito a fare gli esami per il terzo superiore ottenendo un ottimo risultato. Nel frattempo si è riusciti a farlo riunire con la madre.

Sta continuando a studiare e sogna di diventare un poliziotto.

 

The second story is about a boy, called Prakash Reddy, he entered in Jeevadhara in 7th july 2010. We found him hungry and lonely on one of street of Kadapa. After giving food and speaking with him we came to know that he was working in the vegetable market selling things and earing a little money.

But however one day his owner left him on the street and disappeared and that's how we got him.

After giving him counseling we came to know more things about this boy. He said that his father passed away when he was a little boy and his mother was taking care of him and after some difficulties he ran away from home. Somehow we found his mother and informed about his situation and how he is continuing his studies and his mother is so happy.

Now you believe it or not, a boy who studied till 7th grade, he is now in the college studying 11th grade.

He is very good boy, generous and hard working in every realm of life. Now he proudly tells that he wants to become police in the future, I pray that his wish may come true.

La terza storia di vita è quella di Ramprasad, lui ha attualmente 13 anni e frequenta la seconda media. All'età di 9 anni ha perso il padre e la responsabilità economica della famiglia (formata dalla madre, da una sorella e da un fratello più piccoli) è stata presa da lui.

E' stato assunto come pastore di pecore iniziando il lavoro la mattina presto fino alla sera con un guadagno che si aggirava intorno ai due euro.

Nel mese di giugno 2011, i nostri padri con una suora si sono recati nel suo villaggio e hanno sensibilizzato la gente sull'importanza dell'educazione scolastica per il futuro dei bambini.

A conclusione della visita, la suora ha assicurato un lavoro per la madre che si sarebbe presa cura del figlio minore mentre la figlia l'ha portata con sè in un loro istituto per farla studiare.

Ramprasad invece è entrato in Jeevedhara e ha ripreso a studiare con impegno, ottenendo buoni risultati. Ha ritrovato la gioia della propria età ed è molto generoso in tutto ciò che fa o gli viene chiesto.

Il suo sogno è di riuscire in futuro a trovare un buon lavoro per mantenere in modo dignitoso la sua famiglia.

 

The third live's story is about Ramprasad. He entered in Jeevedhara on 6th June 2011.

When he was 9 years old his father died and the burden of the family fell on his shoulder and he has to earn money by taking care of the sheep. His duty was to shepherd and his work would start from morning till evening and the wage he was getting was between 100-150 Rupees. He helped his mother, siter and young brother for a while until one day we visited his village along with some nuns amd conscientized people about the value of education and the problem of child labour.

The nuns gave job to the mother and took Ramprasad's sister to the hostel and we took Ramprasad to Jeevedhara and thta's how we got this boy.  

Now, this boy is studying in 7th grade and he isi a good boy and he always dreams of earning a lot of money to support his family after studyng very well, let his dreams come true, God bless him.

La quarta storia è quella di Samba Sivaiah, un ragazzo orfano di entrambi i genitori. Di lui si prendeva cura il nonno, che è morto nel 2009. Gli altri parenti non hanno voluto prenderlo con sè e così lo hanno portato nel nostro istituto dove si è sentito amato. Ha ripreso gli studi ed ora all'età di 13 anni sta facendo la seconda media con ottimi risultati. Ha un carattere molto buono ed è generoso. Sogna di diventare in futuro un grande giocatore di cricket (sport molto praticato in India).

The fourth story is about Samba Sivaiah. He entered in Jeevedhara on 22 June 2009. He is totally an orphan. His grandfather was taking care of him and he passed away leaving him alone and some of his distant relatives left him in our house and since 4 years he is here with us.

He is very good boy and happy in spite of his loneliness. Presently he is studying in the 7th grade and he wants to become cricket player like Sachin Tendulk.

E infine la storia di Srikanth un bambino di 12 anni dello stato del Maharastra, la cui capitale è Bombai.

La sua è una storia strana. Un giorno da piccolo viaggiando in treno con i genitori, è stato perso in una stazione.

E' rimasto solo e abbandonato a se stesso. Preso poi dalla polizia, non è stato possibilie trovare i genitori. E' stato messo in un istituto e nel luglio del 2010 è stato portato nel nostro istituto di Jeevedhara, istituto stimato dagli assistenti sociali per lo stile di vita che si offre ai bambini.

Si è inserito molto bene, dimostrandosi molto generoso e interessato allo studio.

Sta finendo la prima media e in futuro sogna di essere un campione dello sport.

 

Here is the detail of a boy called Srikanth.

He entered in Jeevedhara Nilayam, on 23 July 2010. He is a totally an orphan. Actually he is from Maharastra one of the states of India. When he was travelling with his parents as a small child he missed the train as well as the parents. The police brought him to a place called home for children but soon he was shifted to Jeevedhara by some governament officials from that the time onwards he is in Jeevedhara.

He is very genorous in work and very happy.

Presently he studying in the 6th grade and he wants to become  a good sports person in the future.
